Communication Design
Visual communication is embraced by many professions, speaks many languages, takes many forms and serves many roles. Branching off from the older definitions of ‘graphic design’, communication design encompasses a much wider and fluid scope, which assesses the shape of graphic elements and processes within a greater visual system, environment and language.
This pathway fosters the growth of both practical and technical skills towards exemplary graphic outcomes. The course engages with the entire scope of visual media, whether it be print, web, video, or animation, and set students up with the knowledge to process scenarios / problems with confidence and conceptual rigor.
